On Sunday July 14th, SportsLink Academy organized a “player Vs. Parent” match up looking to have athletes under our program contest their seniors. This was a great opportunity for parents to have an insight into how far their efforts in supporting their children in their sporting endeavors had come. The exhibition lasted the good part of the day with multiple games played out in disciplined sportsman conduct by our players with a tad bit of competitive spirit as they looked to get one over their elders.
Trophies were rendered to the winning teams, and post the event, both parents and players looked forward to future exhibitions to avenge their counterparts in the wake of those that attained results not so favorable.
It was with pleasure for SportsLink to have hosted this exhibition as it further motivates our players and assure they continuously improve their craft in the game, since knowing a watchful eye in the shape of events by those supporting their dreams and endeavors of athletic excellence are by the wings and with them every step of the way.
